- Irene’s Elves The holidays are an especially difficult time for our families. We accept donations of toys, coats and clothes for our families in need from Nov 1-Dec 15 each year. Anything appropriate for ages 6 weeks-6 years is welcome. You may also sign up to adopt a specific child and fulfill their holiday wish list. Or, you can also be an Elf by hosting a toy or coat drive at your business, school, or church. Contact Eleanor Campbell for more information at 828-274-6053.
- Planned Gift
Planned gifts allow you to take advantage of the tax, financial and estate planning benefits of philanthropy. A planned gift can be made with almost anything: stocks, bonds, mutual funds, retirement plans or real estate. Please contact our Development Office at 828-274-6053 for information on strategies that can help you reach your philanthropic objectives while providing significant benefits to you and your heirs.
- Event Sponsorships
There are abundant opportunities to promote your business or services while giving back to your community. Your monetary and in-kind donations support annual events such as the Wings of Hope Awards Dinner, Fall Luau, and the Annual Golf Tournament. Contact Eleanor Ivey Campbell, Events Coordinator at 828-274-6053 for more information.
- Sustaining Partnerships
The Sustaining Partnership is a year-round leadership opportunity that demonstrates your business’s commitment to support people with disabilities. Partner benefits included being highlighted in a quarterly e-newsletter mailed to all IWC constituents, a full year’s presence on the iwcnc.org website with logo and link to your site, and special mention in our annual report. Sustaining partners make a one-time $1000 commitment. Partnership can begin anytime.
